With the beginning of the New Year, the children were excited to return back to the classroom and to their favourite works.

Vocabulary

Shapes: circle, square, triangle 
Body parts: knee, hand, lips, body
Wild animals: deer, bear, zebra and giraffe
Things we use for Needlework: scissor, embroidery ring, thimble, needle 
Things in the Bedroom: bedroom, clock, blanket, wardrobe
Nuts: cashew nut, hazelnut, pistachio, almond
Colours: blue, green, red, yellow
Birds: crow, parrot, pigeon, sparrow

Food Preparation

 This month the children enjoyed chopping and eating their favourite seasonal fruit – Strawberries 

Art and Craft

Kite collage by tearing paper pieces and gluing them

Celebration and Events

We celebrated Makar Sankranti festival by decorating the classroom with kites. The children also collectively made Tilgud laddos.

For the Republic Day celebrations, everyone had come wearing Blue colour clothes.
